Alas! The month of February is fast approaching. And everybody is excited for the day of love. Lovers and admirers are having goose bombs on their stomach while this special day is approaching. Some are feeling nervous because of approaching dates with their object of affection. Every lovers wants it memorable and sweet. But what does February 14 really want us to remind of? February 14 is Valentines Day or Saint Valentines Day. It was named this way in memory of Saint Valentine who was imprisoned because of performing wedding ceremonies of soldiers who are forbidden to marry and of preaching and ministering to Christians. later, they had associated it with romance and became the day of love. From this day forward this day is the second holiday that is celebrated by majority of the world's population. We Filipinos also honor this memorable day of February.
