Upcoming Election 2013

 

             Every three years, our country conducts an election to choose which politicians are going to lead us. Which of them are worthy of our vote? What are the characteristics of aspiring politicians to be considered?

            Our country is now one of the most corrupt countries around the world. And majority of us blame the people sitting on the cabinet/government offices for it is what we can observe through newspapers and televisions. They are the one spending the funds of our government which came from people’s taxes and of people’s sweat and blood!

            But how can we change these evil acts of dirty politicians? How can we get rid of this self-centered people who make money at our expense? Well, it’s simple; we should think and reflect first before writing names on our ballots. Furthermore we should be wise. How? It is by avoiding those who buy our vote. Definitely they are the ones who will steal the government’s money after spending millions on vote buying!

            Let us take the sides of those who give priority to the people’s welfare. Those who have clean hearts, those who are trust worthy, and has honest way of living. Background check could be of help too. By this we can perceive what they would become as government officials.

            In the upcoming election on May, 2013, we voters, make it worth and meaningful. Choose those who don’t buy our vote. Those who are capable of doing public works and those who love the people he/she is representing.

            Be a good citizen! Vote wisely! And no to vote buying!
